Carrington Centennial Care - Camden

The B2 Team was engaged to produce a full design and documentation service for a new 100 bed facility - Grasmere Terrace, with a combination of dementia / high care / low care / extra service components. The services provided were concept design, design review and development in conjunction with Architect, tendering documentation, construction documentation, furniture and fittings specification and pricing procurement. This also included on site visual merchandising and placement of goods on site, with review and inspection for defects claims, on site review of design defects.

The B2 Team presented to Carrington Centennial Care the need to incorporate a major design element that would link the surrounding communities and the new facility, by the way of a commissioned 'quilt mural' produced by the Camden quilting community. This artwork piece has been installed within the facility and has achieved a remarkable achievement in bringing forward the history of the surrounding area within this piece.
