The B2 Team was engaged to upgrade an existing 'extra service' 100 bed facility. The existing interior fitout scheme has been identified by the client as an out of date and not the character of the current market trend servicing this level of the market. The design concpet followed for this project was to lift the status of the overall facility, through efficiencies with modifying existing common areas to allow greater resident flow and ease of use. Also addressing the common areas making them more inviting and usable for all levels of care offered within the facility. The resident bedroom schemes have been updated to improve the level of servicability of the finishes selection and furniture selections.

The B2 Team has developed new concept areas for the facility to incorporate a more welcoming approach right from the front door, through to a new dedicated therapy room, function room, private dining areas and cafe area. While improving on the space planning within the Dementia specific wing. The services provided design and documentation relating to interior layout / space planning, full service finishes/material specification and documentation, custom joinery detailing, artwork selections, furniture and fixture specification. The other services provided was on site visual merchandising and furniture allocation and defect review.
