During our time at Amity, B2 worked with us on the full range of property projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments, the latter often involving substantial extension and increase of bed capacity in addition to extensive refurbishment of existing buildings. Projects ranged from cost-effective interior "refresh" projects for older standard high care homes, mid-market low care extensions, to "high end" extra service solutions. Good corporate solutions were also provided, for example, "coastal" and "regional" themes were developed and specified in a way we could utilise across the group's homes as appropriate for small refurbishment works, to build to consistent look and feel through the group.
B2 are currently working with Cerity on a staged refurbishment program for a boutique extra service home on the Gold Coast named " Villa Serena". The brief is to complement the classically elegant European-style building architecture, furnishings and finishes, with some more contemporary products and finishes, including bedrooms with king single electric beds and custom bedspreads, through to loung and dining room with servery kitchen refurbishment, corridors, entry / reception, hair dressing salon, and integration with outdoor areas. The outcomes from the project are already proving to be valuable.
